Learn to play in a band!

This year, Drums&Co.ch is offering a series of 4 workshops for adults
to learn how to play in a band.

The workshops will take place on:

– Saturday 15 November 2025

– Saturday 17 January 2026

– Saturday 14 March 2026

– Saturday 30 May 2026

The aim of the workshops is to play two or three songs as a band and perform them
at our traditional Students’ Party on 6 June 2026.

The instruments offered are vocals, piano, guitar, bass and drums.

The programme for this series of workshops is as follows:

– A rhythmic solfège class, used as a tool to help put the songs together
(breaks, stops, rhythmic patterns…)

– A small-group session to work on and strengthen rhythmic cohesion
(bass and drums, guitar and keyboard, vocals and piano, lead and backing vocals…)

– A band session to bring together what was learned in the morning,
rehearse the chosen songs and work on stage presence

The schedule for each day is as follows:

Location: at our school, Drums&Co.ch, 9-11 chemin du 23-Août, 1205 Geneva (Jonction eco-district)

4 groups of 4 participants

Prerequisites (one or more of the following):

– you know the basics of your instrument: you have already taken a few lessons
or you are self-taught
– you may or may not know how to read music
– you can play a piece of music from beginning to end

Equipment: the school’s rooms are equipped with all the necessary instruments, microphones and sound systems

Guitarists and bassists should bring their own instruments (cables and amps are provided)

Price: CHF 680 for the series of workshops
